July 3rd-WGHS hosts an Open House at The Dezell House to give the public an opportunity to see our restoration project and the progress toward becoming Gadsden County's first museum. 
Coastal Seafood of Panacea will have delicious seafood lunches available.  All are invited to join us to see the historic displays at the Dezell House and enjoy a day of good fellowship!


The Greensboro Kiwanis Club hosts a walk/run race on the morning of July 4th. Fireworks are then held at West Gadsden High School in the evening.

Quilt Give Away
This vintage quilt was donated to WGHS by James and Linda Smith in memory of his mother, Mrs. Arthur (Cleo Larkin) Smith.  Tickets are $3.00.  It is a full/queen quilt in the "Hole in the Barn Door" pattern.
