Main Event

July 4th-WGHS hosts an Open House at The Dezell House to give the public an opportunity to see our restoration project and the progress toward becoming Gadsden County's first museum. We have baked goods and boiled peanuts for sale. All are invited to join us.

The Greensboro Kiwanis Club hosts a walk/run race on the morning of July 4th. Fireworks are then held at West Gadsden High School in the evening.

Other activities are scheduled throughout the year.

Projects

Flavors of Home, the Society's recently published cookbook, is the largest of our fund raising projects. The 250 page book contains 576 tried and true recipes and numerous helpful household hints. Cookbooks may be purchased locally at various locations in and around Gadsden County, or in our online store.
